- General DiscussionA 15-1 thoroughbred took the 149th Kentucky Derby crown amidst very strange circumstances May 6, 2023. Seven horses died, that's right 7, in the 7 days leading up to yesterday's running of the most famous horse race in the world. First of all, that is absolutely appalling, and I hope some asses 'no pun intended' are getting chewed! Now, from the conspiratorial angle... First, I see 2two 7sevens. Where's the 3third? 2econd, I heard from a reliable source that there's undertones of Satanism and, for lack of a better term but probably exactly what it is, Witchcraft! How dare! Not at the Derby! And with that, from your conspiracy-driven, paranoid for good reason, spirit-filled, human host of the Writer's Niche, I pronounce this Forum open! Mom? God? Stephen King? Joe Rogan? Bueller?
