Updated: Nov 11, 2024

First, a moment of silence, for those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

If you are old enough to remember what happened on this day 23 years ago, then I am sure you can recall exactly where you were when the towers went down, and the other planes crashed. I was driving down Highway 85 to I-76 West, heading to work. Now, I’m the type that believes that most people are good, and I witnessed this irl (that’s—in real life, for those of you that are my age), in the weeks following the attacks. Most of us put aside our differences, came together as a country, and it seemed, at least to me, that the majority of people took a step back, slowed down, and realized how much we take for granted every day. That infamous day seems like a lifetime ago; I was a young dad with my oldest just starting kindergarten, his two younger brothers were in pre-school, and my youngest son would be born two months later, in November 2001. I remember how eerie things felt just after, but the mood of the country was all for one, and one for all, and we were united again; the United States, as it was intended to be 247 years ago. Whatever it was, call it unity, call it empathy, call it what you will, there was a sense of brotherly love that had not been there for years. The events on 9/11 forced this country to reset, just like Covid did four years ago. But we are now, as we were then— resilient, determined, strong, and we persevere! Because dammit, we will NOT go down! We are due for another reset, and oh, how our government, and our country needs one. No, not another Covid reset, but a reset of the combined consciousness of humanity! A reset that sets us free from the tyranny of the mighty cabal, and whatever else may be against us! Whenever* the next reset hits, we will be ready for it. We will overcome our adversities, join together as the intelligent, responsible, empathetic human race that we are, and I believe, we’ll become united once again!~ Peace and God Bless!
